The Grand Tetons

Sunday, June 15, 2014 Happy Father's Day!

Yesterday we toured Grand Teton National Park. The weather was overcast most of the day. We had some snow flurries on the Togwotee Pass (elev. 9,544 ft) and some small hail on the hike up to Hidden Falls. (Yes, I said hike. We actually only went about a half mile, but it was almost all up.)

Our internet here is pretty flaky, as it seems to be in all of the mountains. Cell service is actually worse. So this post will be short and mostly pictures. The Tetons don't really need much color commentary anyway.

From the Snake River
The mountains from Jenny Lake. They have names. I don't know them. Look them up.
He's not as grumpy as he looks. She always looks charming and happy.

A short boat ride took us across Jenny Lake where we hiked to Hidden Falls

She composes her shot. She is getting very good.

Hidden Falls. Worth the hike. Even my knees agreed.
